CALLING ALL DECEMBER GRADUATES!

It's countdown time and DCAM has a very special gift for all our Seniors who are graduating in December! MOMS please share the following:

EMAIL Kim at DCAMCommunications@aggiemoms.org no later than Monday, December 22nd. Include your name and cell number, your graduate's name, major, and date of graduation.  We'd also love a picture to include in our next newsletter if you're willing to share!

Dallas County Aggie brAG!!!

Our December Aggie brAG is Paul Oñate, the Assistant Director of Texas A&M University Engineering Academy at Dallas College. We had the pleasure of meeting Paul when we crashed the Academy's Aggies vs Mizzou Watch Party at the Brookhaven Campus! This month Paul will be walking across the stage in Aggieland with his Master of Science in Educational Human Resource Development - and we couldn't be more proud of this huge accomplishment!

His favorite thing about being an Aggie:  the strong sense of family and genuine care within the culture and the powerful Aggie Network makes him proud to be part of such a supportive and connected community!

Fun Fact: Paul is in great company at home since his wife is also an Aggie - having earned two degrees in Accounting from Mays Business School!

WATCH PARTY 11/8

November Meeting

We had a great time enjoying a Thanksgiving-style feast, socializing, and stuffing Goody Bags so our Dallas County Aggies can feel the love during finals! If you ordered a Goody Bag for your Aggie, let them know pick-up will be on December 8th from 10am - 2pm in the MSC. We will send them a notification but we could use your help to remind and reinforce the message and pick-up details!

During the meeting we also learned more about The 12th Can and their critical need to restock the pantries on campus and around town. Please visit their website for more information on how you can help feed and care for the Aggieland community in need.

Federation Information
Federation Emblem

Any event sponsored through The Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers' Club will have this emblem beside the listing. The Federation is the umbrella group over all the individual clubs. These events are open to members of all the different Aggie Moms' Clubs.

The Federation and each individual Aggie Moms’ Club, from the largest with over 300 members to the smallest with only 5 members, share a common goal: To band together to do whatever is necessary to benefit the students at Texas A&M University. Each of the mothers also benefits in the process by sharing a camaraderie that cannot be found elsewhere.  An Aggie Moms’ Club meeting is a nurturing place to share the successes and setbacks of a child’s college career with others who have had the same experiences.

In addition to awarding scholarships to individual students, A&M Mothers’ Clubs serve Texas A&M University by financially supporting campus organizations.  The Aggie Band, the Corps of Cadets, the Endowment Fund for Sterling C. Evans Library, Fish, Transfer and S.A.L.T. Camps, Peer Orientation Conferences, CARPOOL, and over 1000 other Student Organizations receive financial support each year from Aggie Moms’ Clubs.
