Each spring, Texas A&M students join together for The Big Event—the nation’s largest one-day, student‑run service project—returning gratitude to the Bryan‑College Station community through yard work, painting, window washing, and much more.
Locally, the Dallas Aggie Moms join in the spirit of service by complementing campus efforts with their own projects. This past April, we organized a collection drive to assemble Easter baskets for Hope Supply Co., coming together for a morning at their warehouse to create holiday joy for families in need as part of our Big Event participation. In doing so, the Dallas Aggie Moms extend the aggressive spirit of “One Big Thanks” beyond College Station—supporting students and the community alike, and exemplifying the core values of service, unity, and gratitude that define Aggieland.
