Dallas County Aggie Moms Scholarship Application
for the Texas A&M 2025-26 school year
AMOUNT: $1,000 each award
Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must meet the following requirements:
1. Entering Freshman (high school seniors) need to supply their UIN number and proof of acceptance to the University.
2. The applicant for Sophomore and above scholarships shall be a full-time student, as specified by Texas A&M University, at the time of application and at the time of disbursement of funds. (Students participating in student teaching, internships, and cooperative education programs, and study abroad programs who are enrolled in less than 12 hours during a fall or spring semester may be eligible to be certified as a full-time student with the approval of the Dean of the College or his or her designee. A letter of certification must be included with this application.)
3. The applicant for Sophomore and above scholarships shall be in good standing at the beginning of the next Fall semester and shall have a minimum GPA of 3.00. An unofficial original transcript (all pages), which shows proof of hours and the student’s GPA, may be obtained by going to the student’s “My Record” on the HOWDY.TAMU.EDU website.
Students in the Blinn TEAM program must provide a transcript from both Blinn and Texas A&M. The applicant shall be a full-time student and have a minimum composite GPA of 2.70.
4. The applicant will reside in Dallas County or represented by our membership:
75025, 75082, 75087, 75148, 75154, 76016, 76034, 76108, 76426, 77551, 83714 (Idaho)
Application Submission:
A completed application includes the following:
1. This form, filled out in its entirety and submitted (an email "receipt" will be sent to you with a copy of your submission).
2. Unofficial transcript(s) with student's name, proof of hours (past and current) and GPA from Texas A&M University and Blinn (if applicable).
3. A 250-word essay expressing what your education at Texas A&M University means to you and how you will use it to impact the world.
